,Job Title: Comparative Arts & Letters: Art History– CFS Professorial FacultyPosting End Date: 10/4/2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Saturday, October, 3, 2026 @ 11:59 p.m. (MST)Position Start Date: August 2, 2027Required Degree: PhD in a humanistic field with evidence of interdisciplinary training or scholarly/teaching interests.The required degree must be completed by the start date.Experience: Candidates must demonstrate training or scholarly/teaching interests in Art History and/or Visual Culture Studies. Evidence of an active research and publishing profile is expected.Duties/Expectations:Teach General Education and program courses in one or more of our sections: Art History, Interdisciplinary Humanities, and Comparative Literature. As a professorial position, this ten-month annual contract expects the following:Teaching load of 6 courses with a typical teaching assignment of 2 or 3 courses fall semester, 2 or 3 courses winter semester, and 1 course spring or summer term.Maintain an active research and publishing profileMentor undergraduate and graduate research.Participate in faculty meetings and other academic discussions.
